Tree trimming and pruning

Trimming keeps a tree healthy, safe and off your roof. We make clean cuts at the right points — no topping, no stubs — and take out the deadwood that comes down on its own in the next storm.

How the job goes

01

Walk the trees

We look at the whole canopy and agree on what comes off and what stays.

02

Free written estimate

Clear scope, clear price, in writing before any cutting.

03

Prune and clean up

Cuts are made at the branch collar so the tree closes them properly, then brush is chipped and hauled.

Where we work

We also serve Gardner, Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Gladstone, and travel up to an hour from the metro, including Topeka, Lawrence and St. Joseph.

Common questions

When is the best time to trim?+

Most trees do best with dormant-season pruning, but broken, dead or hazardous limbs should come off whenever you notice them.

Do you top trees?+

No. Topping damages a tree and creates weak regrowth. We thin and reduce instead.

Can you clear limbs off my roof?+

Yes, clearance cuts over roofs, gutters and driveways are some of the most common work we do.
